I'm the really good friend who was there for moral support every step of the way, and I'm the one who found an attorney when it became obvious that my friend needed one. Goline Roland Law Firm, specifically Rachel Roland, came highly recommended from a personal friend of ours, which was a blessing because the drawn-out divorce process had already become contentious and intimidating. He hired Rachel and was so glad he did—we both were. It's not just typing up a decree, it's also navigating all of the paperwork with the court, prodding the "contentious other party" to "please respond," and then accurately interpreting the best wording in the decree for what he was trying to accomplish while being mindful of the many pitfalls we didn't even know might exist. The whole process took a few months, but they were always on the ball and mindful of deadlines. She accepted my case and I had initial paperwork within an hour to start my case. My case was filed and started the next day, and within 61 days the divorce was final.
